I have probably visited Chicago at least 10 times (if not more). In the past five years or so, my cousins and I have developed into amateur foodies and explored downtown Chicago. Although every time our visits are short and rushed, we somehow make time to try at least one restaurant or popular food place that we’ve heard (and of course researched on) prior to making our annual trip.
My Chicago Top Picks
1. Eatly Chicago – gourmet grocery store and several restaurants on second floor; fantastic for foodies (my entry)
2. Epic Burger – simliar to Shake Shack (burgers and milkshakes) (my entry)
3. Ghirardelli Chocolate – there’s a Ghirardelli cafe/ chocolate shop where custmoers can sit down and order ice cream and cafe treats (I believe they have outdoor seating/ patio) (my entry)
4. The Purple Pig – small busy tapas style restaurant (with outdoor seating) (my entry)
Around Chicago
Kernel’s Gourmet Popcorn – best popcorn ever, not sure what flavour my mom buys, but it’s the sweet sugary one (will update on the flavour soon) (my entry)
