I’m always open to try new Indian restaurants, especially if they have been recommended by someone I know. A few weeks back, my co-worker mentioned that she always gets take out from Butter Chicken Factory. So obviously, I had to put this down on my list.
This past weekend, my parents and I so happen to be downtown for an event. And we didn’t have anywhere to go for dinner, so this was the perfect opportunity to eat at Butter Chicken Factory.
We decided on the Dinner for 2, which included an appetizer dish, 2 mains (1 of them had to be a vegetarian dish), a complementary Chana Masala, one rice and two naans. We chose the famous Butter Chicken (my co-worker recommended that to me) and we also ordered Navratan (Veggie) Korma. This was plenty for the three of us as we had leftovers to take home.
The appetizer had one large vegetable samosa, two pieces of onion bhaij, and three portions of chicken pakora.
Butter Chicken.
Chana Masala.
Naan.
Rice.
The dinner special was $43.95 and including a drink, tax and tips came to be $60. That’s not bad at all, considering we had doggy bags. Everything was streaming hot when it was served, which is a rare find. I am not sure if I would recommend this restaurant to a friend. I probably need to try other dishes and eat there a couple more times to decide. I really want to try the Rogan Josh and Vindaloo curries.
