I’ve been to Joey’s a couple of times and since they have locations all over the GTA, it’ safe to say that I’ve been to 3 of 4 locations. They have approximately the same menu items, the looking at the locations I’ve been to, and it hasn’t changed one bit (it’s a good thing)!

This location, Joey at Yorkdale Mall isn’t my favourite, as they have a small patio that looks out to the mall’s parking lot. But the two-floored restaurant is bound to attract you in some way. They have a bar lounge as well as a dinner area that has a different atmosphere, depending on where you’re seated.

The menu basically suits everyone..I think, as it’s filled with a variety of different foods; steak, sushi, salads, sandwiches, burgers, tacos etc.

I met my university friend, O, for lunch, since I’m on Summer break and she’s done her undergrad. It’s been a while since I saw her, April of 2013.

I ordered the Bombay Butter Chicken. It was delicious, as always. Though I wish there was more rice. : (

O had a Crispy Chicken Sandwich, she said the mayo was a tad spicy.

Both our orders was less than $20 each. And we were definitely full after finishing what was on our plate. It might have been a busy day, but I don’t recall our waiter coming to our table and asking if we needs anything or how our food was. But nevertheless, he was nice, and presented himself with a warming welcome.

Joey’s will always be a restaurant that I’ll never say no too (unless I have an unpleasant experience, NOT yet though, thankfully!).
