The Pie Commission

Pot pies. Never was a fan of them..the 99cents ones from the local grocery store. But pot pies…they come in different shapes, forms and tastes. This is what I would call gourmet pot pie.

Four pies for 4 people for dinner was surely more than enough. Although there are 5 different flavours that the The Pie Commission makes, we only got 4; braised beef rib, beef n’ beer, butter chicken and veg-ilicious. Surprisingly the all four of them tasted amazing, the chicken in the butter chicken was over done but the beef n’ beer was nothing special, just ground beef in pie. I loved the crust and the pastry that covers the pie, just savoury and crispy to bite into. The vegilicious tasted like a vegetable lasagna.

I’m not sure how much the pie costs, but I’m sure you can find out on their website (or give them a ring).

*Sorry if this post has more pictures than usual, I thought the best way of explaining this was through pictures as sometimes I don’t describe my experience well with words.
