In Toronto, there can be many events happening in just the two main months of Summer and this year, it so happens to be a pop-up ice cream store. Brought to you by Magnum , an ice cream company has given Torontonians and Toronto’s tourists a bit of time to test these ‘make’-yourself-ice cream bars.
I heard the line up takes around an hour or so ( friday nights, saturday and sunday are the worst days to go), but I gladly waited half the average wait time (30 minutes). As there are 21 different toppings to choose from, I clearly do not remember the specific toppings I chose (there are wacky toppings such as chilly flakes to bacon bits).
It’s a small pop up shop.
Fake ice cream bars.
Six simple steps.
Toppings!
Coating it!
Drizzling with white chocolate.
Being classy with ice cream bar sticks.
Before.
After.
Home is where the CN Tower is.
I heard that the store is closing in August, but online is says end of July.
I wasn’t too inclined to this pop-up store. It was an opportunity to blog and experience the ‘trend.’ I’m not overly impressed and this was definitely over exaggerated.
$6 (tax included) for each ice cream bar.
